Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

This commemorative set of four stamps issued by Jordan Post honors Al Baqoura and Al Ghamr, two historically significant agricultural areas located in the Jordan Valley near the Israeli border. تحتفل هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من أربعة طوابع والتي أصدرتها شركة البريد الأردني بمنطقتي الباقورة والغمر، وهما منطقتان زراعيتان ذات أهمية تاريخية تقعان في الأغوار الأردنية بالقرب من الحدود الإسرائيلية. هذان الإقليمان، المعروفان بأراضيهما الخصبة وأهميتهما الاستراتيجية، كانا مؤجرين لإسرائيل بموجب معاهدة السلام الأردنية الإسرائيلية عام ١٩٩٤ لكنهما عادا إلى السيادة الأردنية الكاملة عام ٢٠١٩ عندما قررت الأردن عدم تجديد اتفاقيات الإيجار. تصور الطوابع مشاهد مختلفة من هاتين المنطقتين، بما في ذلك الأقواس الحجرية التقليدية، والمناظر الطبيعية الزراعية الخصبة مع أشجار النخيل والجسور القديمة، ومشاهد صحراوية مع مركبات عسكرية، وأفراد من القوات المسلحة الأردنية في الصلاة، مما يرمز إلى الأهمية الروحية والوطنية لاستعادة هذه الأراضي.
