Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

This exceptional set of seven stamps was issued by the Hashemite Royal Court to mark the centennial of the founding of the Jordanian state (1921-2021). Unlike ordinary postal issues, these stamps were not produced by Jordan Post and were never intended for postal use; instead they were printed in very limited quantities exclusively for presentation to dignitaries and officials during the centenary celebrations. The set features portraits of the Hashemite rulers, including King Abdullah I (the founder) and the current King Abdullah II, alongside historical scenes of soldiers with flags and horses evoking the Great Arab Revolt and Jordan's military heritage. Cultural and religious themes appear through images of mosques and churches, underscoring Jordan's tradition of religious tolerance, while the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum showcase the country's natural beauty. The final stamp depicts the coronation ceremonies of Jordan's four kings, making this a highly desirable philatelic set that honours modern Jordanian history.

هذه المجموعة الاستثنائية المؤلفة من سبعة طوابع أصدرها الديوان الملكي الهاشمي للاحتفال بمئوية تأسيس الدولة الأردنية (1921-2021). وبخلاف الإصدارات البريدية العادية، لم تنتج هذه الطوابع من قبل البريد الأردني ولم تكن مخصصة للاستخدام البريدي. بل طُبعت بكميات محدودة جداً حصرياً لتقديمها للشخصيات المهمة والمسؤولين خلال احتفالات المئوية. تضم المجموعة صوراً للحكام الهاشميين بما في ذلك الملك عبد الله الأول (المؤسس) والملك عبد الله الثاني الحالي، إلى جانب مشاهد تاريخية للجنود مع الأعلام والخيول تمثل الثورة العربية والتراث العسكري الأردني. وتمثل المواضيع الثقافية والدينية من خلال صور المساجد والكنائس، مما يؤكد على التسامح الديني في الأردن، بينما تعرض المناظر الطبيعية الخلابة لوادي رم جمال الطبيعة الأردنية. يصور الطابع الأخير مراسم تتويج ملوك الأردن الأربعة، مما يجعل هذه مجموعة فيلاتيلية مرغوبة جداً تكرم التاريخ الأردني الحديث.
