Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Each stamp features the centennial emblem showing '100' with silhouettes of mounted warriors carrying flags, emphasizing the military and symbolic aspects of this transformative period. The souvenir sheet presents the central emblem design with flags and mounted figures. Printed by Super Star Press in Jordan, this issue honors a foundational moment in Arab and Jordanian history, celebrating the courage and vision that led to independence and the establishment of the Hashemite dynasty that continues to rule Jordan today.

أصدر البريد الأردني هذه المجموعة التذكارية في 10 يونيو 2016 لإحياء الذكرى المئوية للثورة العربية الكبرى (1916-2016)، وهي الانتفاضة المحورية ضد الحكم العثماني التي ساعدت في تأسيس الأردن الحديث والعالم العربي الأوسع. الثورة التي أطلقها الشريف حسين بن علي من مكة لعبت دوراً حاسماً في الاستقلال العربي وتشكيل المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. تصور هذه المجموعة المكونة من خمسة طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية العناصر الرئيسية للثورة: راكبي الجمال عبر التضاريس الصحراوية، وفرسان في المعركة، وقادة عرب بالزي التقليدي، وصور للملك عبد الله الثاني والشريف حسين بن علي، مما يربط الإرث التاريخي بالملكية الأردنية الحالية. يحمل كل طابع شعار الذكرى المئوية الذي يظهر '100' مع ظلال المحاربين على ظهور الخيل حاملين الأعلام، مؤكداً الجوانب العسكرية والرمزية لهذه الفترة التحويلية.
