Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

This commemorative set of four stamps and one souvenir sheet was issued by the Government of Jordan in June 1993 to mark the 77th anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt and Army Day. أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من أربعة طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية في يونيو 1993 بمناسبة الذكرى السابعة والسبعين للثورة العربية الكبرى ويوم الجيش. شكلت الثورة العربية التي أطلقها الشريف الحسين بن علي من مكة عام 1916 ضد الحكم العثماني لحظة محورية في التاريخ العربي الحديث أدت إلى الاستقلال العربي وتأسيس المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. تكرم الطوابع ثلاثة أجيال من القيادة الهاشمية: الشريف الحسين بن علي قائد الثورة، والملك عبدالله الأول مؤسس الأردن، والملك حسين الملك الحاكم آنذاك. تتضمن التصاميم المعدات العسكرية والقوات المسلحة الأردنية ورموزاً تشمل قبة الصخرة في القدس، مؤكدة على دور الأردن التاريخي في القومية العربية والتزامه المستمر بالاستقرار الإقليمي.
