Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

The decorative borders feature traditional Islamic geometric patterns, while the text includes both Arabic and English inscriptions identifying "The Hashemite Kingdom of the Jordan" and "Commemorating the Unity of Jordan." This philatelic issue served as an official announcement and celebration of Jordan's territorial expansion, representing King Abdullah I's successful annexation of the Palestinian territories west of the Jordan River following the 1948 Nakba.
