This 1952 definitives set issued by the Government of Jordan features architectural subjects with overprinted denominations converting the currency from Mils to Fils. The set comprises 11 stamps showcasing three significant Islamic architectural sites. The lower values depict the Mosque in Hebron, an important religious site in the West Bank. The middle denominations feature the iconic Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, one of Islam's most recognizable monuments with its golden dome and octagonal structure. The highest values show architectural views of Acre, the historic coastal city. This issue represents Jordan's transition to the Fils currency system while celebrating the Islamic architectural heritage of the region. The overprints, mostly in red with some in black, clearly show the new Fils denominations printed over the original Mils values. The set includes two notable varieties: one stamp with black instead of red overprint, and another with a striking double overprint where one impression is inverted. These overprinted definitives served Jordan's postal needs during a period of monetary reform while maintaining visual connection to the Islamic cultural landmarks that held significance for the Hashemite Kingdom.
تمثل هذه المجموعة من الطوابع العادية المصدرة عام ١٩٥٢ من قِبل الحكومة الأردنية مواضيع معمارية مع توشيحات بفئات جديدة تحول العملة من المل إلى الفلس. تتألف المجموعة من ١١ طابعاً تعرض ثلاثة مواقع معمارية إسلامية مهمة. تصور القيم المنخفضة مسجد الخليل، وهو موقع ديني مهم في الضفة الغربية. تعرض الفئات المتوسطة قبة الصخرة المشرفة في القدس، إحدى أشهر المعالم الإسلامية بقبتها الذهبية وتصميمها المثمن. تُظهر القيم العليا مناظر معمارية من عكا، المدينة الساحلية التاريخية. يمثل هذا الإصدار انتقال الأردن إلى نظام عملة الفلس مع الاحتفال بالتراث المعماري الإسلامي في المنطقة. التوشيحات، معظمها باللون الأحمر وبعضها بالأسود، تُظهر بوضوح فئات الفلس الجديدة المطبوعة فوق قيم المل الأصلية.
