The stamps showcase a variety of species including waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds that depend on Jordan's wetlands, forests, and desert oases during their long journeys. Each stamp features detailed photography capturing these birds in their natural habitats, from the majestic Great White Pelican and Grey-crowned Crane to smaller species like the European Bee-eater and Eurasian Blackcap. The designs bear the date 2013 although the stamps were officially issued in February 2014. This philatelic tribute underscores Jordan's commitment to wildlife conservation and its role as a critical stopover point in the East African-West Asian flyway, one of the world's most important bird migration corridors.
تحتفل هذه المجموعة المكونة من ثمانية طوابع بالطيور المهاجرة المتنوعة التي تعبر الموقع الاستراتيجي للأردن على طول طرق الهجرة الرئيسية للطيور بين أوروبا وآسيا وأفريقيا. أصدر البريد الأردني هذه المجموعة التذكارية لتسليط الضوء على التنوع البيولوجي الغني للطيور في البلاد وأهمية حماية هؤلاء الزوار الموسميين. تعرض الطوابع مجموعة متنوعة من الأنواع بما في ذلك الطيور المائية والجوارح والطيور المغردة التي تعتمد على الأراضي الرطبة والغابات والواحات الصحراوية في الأردن خلال رحلاتها الطويلة. يتميز كل طابع بتصوير مفصل يلتقط هذه الطيور في بيئاتها الطبيعية. تحمل التصاميم تاريخ 2013 رغم أن الطوابع صدرت رسمياً في فبراير 2014.
