Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Jordan Post issued this maritime-themed set of four stamps and a souvenir sheet in December 2013, celebrating the rich tradition of sailing ships and naval heritage. The stamps, designed by Elham Naser Foundation and printed by Henan Press in China, showcase various sailing vessels in different maritime settings. Each stamp depicts historical sailing ships with billowing sails, representing the golden age of maritime navigation and trade. The 20 piastre stamp shows ships under full sail on calm waters, while the 30 piastre stamp captures vessels anchored in a busy harbor setting. The 40 piastre stamp dramatically portrays a sailing ship battling stormy seas, and the 50 piastre stamp features a partially rigged vessel. The souvenir sheet presents an impressive armada of multiple sailing ships gathered together. Despite bearing the printed date 2012 on their designs, these stamps were officially released in 2013. This commemorative issue appeals to maritime enthusiasts and collectors interested in nautical themes, celebrating humanity's seafaring heritage through beautifully rendered ship portraits.

أصدر البريد الأردني هذه المجموعة البحرية المكونة من أربعة طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية في ديسمبر 2013، احتفالاً بالتراث الغني للسفن الشراعية والإرث البحري. تعرض الطوابع، التي صممتها مؤسسة الهام ناصر وطبعتها مطبعة هينان في الصين، سفناً شراعية مختلفة في بيئات بحرية متنوعة. يصور كل طابع سفناً شراعية تاريخية بأشرعة منتفخة، تمثل العصر الذهبي للملاحة البحرية والتجارة. يُظهر طابع العشرين قرشاً سفناً تحت الأشرعة الكاملة على مياه هادئة، بينما يصور طابع الثلاثين قرشاً سفناً راسية في ميناء مزدحم. يعرض طابع الأربعين قرشاً بشكل درامي سفينة شراعية تحارب البحار العاصفة، ويُظهر طابع الخمسين قرشاً سفينة مجهزة جزئياً. تقدم البطاقة التذكارية أسطولاً مثيراً من سفن شراعية متعددة مجتمعة. رغم حمل الطوابع تاريخ 2012 المطبوع على تصاميمها، صدرت رسمياً في 2013.
