Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من طابعين أصدرتها الحكومة الأردنية في 9 أكتوبر 1971 للاحتفال بافتتاح المبنى الجديد لمقر الاتحاد البريدي العالمي في برن بسويسرا. الاتحاد البريدي العالمي، الذي تأسس عام 1874، يعمل كمنتدى رئيسي للتعاون بين الخدمات البريدية في جميع أنحاء العالم ويلعب دوراً حاسماً في تسهيل تبادل البريد الدولي. إن بناء المقر الجديد مثّل معلماً مهماً للمنظمة والمجتمع البريدي العالمي. يعرض الطابعان رسماً معمارياً متطابقاً لمجمع مقر الاتحاد البريدي العالمي الحديث، ويظهران المبنى الرئيسي متعدد الطوابق بخطوطه الأفقية المميزة وواجهته الهندسية، مع مباني مساعدة أصغر ضمن أراض منسقة. الطابعان بفئتي 10 و20 فلساً، ويعكسان مشاركة الأردن النشطة في الشؤون البريدية الدولية والتزامه بمهمة الاتحاد البريدي العالمي في تعزيز الخدمات البريدية الفعالة عالمياً.
