أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من أربعة طوابع في 9 فبراير 1972 بمناسبة السنة الدولية للتربية والتعليم. تحتفل المجموعة بأهمية التعليم والتعلم من خلال صور لطلاب صغار منشغلين بأنشطة تعليمية. يُظهر كل طابع تلميذاً صغيراً يفحص أو يحمل ما يبدو أنه مواد تعليمية، مما يؤكد على موضوع تعلم الأطفال وتنميتهم. تشترك الطوابع في نهج تصميمي متسق مع تنويع في الألوان - الأزرق الداكن والأحمر الوردي والأخضر والبرتقالي على التوالي. تحمل القيم الأربع نصوصاً عربية وإنجليزية تحدد المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وموضوع السنة الدولية للتربية والتعليم. تعكس المجموعة التزام الأردن بالتطوير التعليمي خلال أوائل السبعينيات.
