This commemorative set of three stamps, issued by the Government of Jordan in May 1974, celebrates the centenary of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), founded in 1874. The set includes a notable variety: the 60 fils stamp exists in two versions, one with the face value prominently displayed and another where the denomination was accidentally omitted during printing, creating a collectible error variety.
