Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

This commemorative set of three stamps was issued by the Government of Jordan on June 15, 1975, to mark the tenth anniversary of Alia (Royal Jordanian Airlines). The 30 fils stamp features a Boeing 707 airliner connecting a world globe to a map of Jordan, illustrating the airline's role in linking the kingdom to international destinations. The 60 fils stamp displays a globe with the prominent ALIA logo, emphasizing the airline's brand recognition and global presence. All stamps incorporate the distinctive red ALIA branding and include both Arabic and English text identifying the commemorative nature of the issue. The set reflects Jordan's pride in its national carrier during a period of significant growth in Middle Eastern aviation, when airlines served as symbols of national prestige and modernization in the post-independence era.

أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من ثلاثة طوابع في 15 يونيو 1975 للاحتفال بالذكرى العاشرة لتأسيس مؤسسة عالية (الخطوط الجوية الملكية الأردنية). تأسست الشركة عام 1963 وسميت تيمناً بالملكة عالية الحسين، وقد مثلت ظهور الأردن كدولة حديثة ذات اتصالات دولية. تعرض الطوابع جوانب مختلفة من النطاق العالمي لشركة الطيران وهويتها. يصور الطابع فئة 10 فلسات كرة أرضية منمقة مع صور صحراوية ترمز للموقع الجغرافي للأردن. يظهر طابع 30 فلساً طائرة بوينغ 707 تربط الكرة الأرضية بخريطة الأردن، مما يوضح دور الشركة في ربط المملكة بالوجهات الدولية. يعرض طابع 60 فلساً كرة أرضية مع شعار عالية البارز، مؤكداً على الاعتراف بالعلامة التجارية وحضورها العالمي. تتضمن جميع الطوابع العلامة التجارية المميزة لعالية باللون الأحمر والنصوص العربية والإنجليزية.
