This memorial stamp set was issued by the Government of Jordan on June 15, 1964, to honor President John F. Kennedy following his assassination in November 1963. The set comprises six stamps and one souvenir sheet, with additional imperforate varieties. Each stamp features a dignified portrait of Kennedy surrounded by a laurel wreath, symbolizing peace and honor, with text in both English and Arabic identifying "The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan" and commemorating the late president. The stamps are printed in different colors - violet, carmine, ultramarine, yellow brown, blue green, and vermilion - representing various denominations from 1 to 85 fils. أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية في 15 يونيو 1964 لتكريم الرئيس جون ف. كندي عقب اغتياله في نوفمبر 1963. تتألف المجموعة من ستة طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية واحدة، مع إصدارات إضافية غير مثقبة. يحمل كل طابع صورة كريمة للرئيس كندي محاطة بإكليل الغار رمز السلام والشرف، مع نص باللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية يحدد "المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية" ويحتفل بذكرى الرئيس الراحل. طُبعت الطوابع بألوان مختلفة - البنفسجي والقرمزي والأزرق الفاتح والبني المصفر والأزرق المخضر والأحمر القرمزي - تمثل فئات مختلفة من 1 إلى 85 فلساً. تحتوي البطاقة التذكارية على طابع 100 فلس بألوان بنية داكنة، معززة برمز الشعلة الأبدية التي تمثل إرث كندي الدائم. يعكس هذا الإصدار احترام الأردن للرئيس الأمريكي المقتول ويظهر الحداد الدولي الذي أعقب وفاة كندي المأساوية.
