This commemorative set of three stamps was issued by the Government of Jordan on October 24, 1965, to mark International Co-operation Year, proclaimed by the United Nations for 1965. Each stamp features the official emblem of International Co-operation Year, depicting two hands in a handshake gesture enclosed within a wreath of olive branches, symbolizing peace, unity, and cooperation between nations. The stamps are printed in different colors - red/orange for the 5 fils value, blue tones for the 10 fils, and green/purple for the 45 fils denomination. All stamps display both Arabic and English text identifying the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and referencing International Co-operation Year 1965. أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من ثلاثة طوابع في 24 أكتوبر 1965 للاحتفال بسنة التعاون الدولي التي أعلنتها الأمم المتحدة لعام 1965. تم إنشاء هذه السنة لتعزيز التعاون الدولي والتفاهم بين الأمم في مواجهة التحديات العالمية وتعزيز السلام. يحمل كل طابع الشعار الرسمي لسنة التعاون الدولي، والذي يصور يدين في مصافحة محاطة بإكليل من أغصان الزيتون، مما يرمز إلى السلام والوحدة والتعاون بين الأمم. يؤكد التصميم على روح التعاون التي سعت الأمم المتحدة لتشجيعها في جميع أنحاء العالم. طُبعت الطوابع بألوان مختلفة - الأحمر والبرتقالي للقيمة 5 فلوس، والأزرق للقيمة 10 فلوس، والأخضر والبنفسجي للقيمة 45 فلساً. تعكس هذه الإصدارات التزام الأردن بالتعاون الدولي ومشاركته في المبادرات الأممية العالمية خلال الستينيات.
