This 1964 Birds set from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan features three beautifully illustrated stamps showcasing colorful bird species. Issued by the Government of Jordan through its Ministry of Post & Communications on December 18, 1964, the set depicts a Four-colored bush shrike (150 fils), an Ornate hawk eagle in flight (500 fils), and a Grey-headed kingfisher (1000 fils). Each stamp presents detailed ornithological artwork against distinctive colored backgrounds - mint green, sky blue, and olive green respectively. The series represents Jordan's commitment to highlighting regional wildlife and natural heritage through philatelic art. All stamps are marked for airmail use and bear both Arabic and English text identifying the issuing authority. The set was produced in both perforated and imperforate varieties, with the imperforate versions being scarcer collectors' items.
