أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية في 24 ديسمبر 1963 بمناسبة الذكرى المئوية للصليب الأحمر الدولي، احتفالاً بمرور مائة عام على تأسيسه في عام 1863. تتكون الإصدارة من 6 طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية واحدة، مع 6 سجلات متغيرة إضافية غير مثقوبة. يحمل كل طابع شعار الصليب الأحمر المميز معروضاً بوضوح على خلفية بيضاء، مع نصوص مرافقة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية تحدد المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وتحتفل بالذكرى المئوية للصليب الأحمر (1863-1963). أُنتجت الطوابع بفئات مختلفة تتراوح من 1 إلى 85 فلساً، كل منها بألوان خلفية مميزة تشمل البنفسجي والفيروزي والأزرق الداكن والأخضر المزرق الداكن والبني الداكن والأخضر الداكن. يؤكد التصميم على الرسالة الإنسانية العالمية للصليب الأحمر، مع نقوش ثنائية اللغة بالعربية والإنجليزية تبرز مشاركة الأردن في الجهود الإنسانية الدولية.
