Issued by Jordan Post on December 31, 2007, the Culture and Identity set celebrates Jordan's rich cultural heritage through four stamps and a souvenir sheet. This commemorative issue showcases traditional elements that define Jordanian identity: the preservation of knowledge through books, the musical tradition embodied by the oud (lute), traditional craftsmanship represented by decorative bottles, and the art of Arabic calligraphy. Each stamp features a distinctive mosaic-like grid pattern that gives the designs a traditional textile or archaeological feel, reflecting Jordan's deep historical roots. The souvenir sheet combines all four cultural elements in a unified presentation. The set was designed by Information Technology Planet Co. and printed by Österreichische Staatsdruckerei in Vienna, Austria, using high-quality printing techniques that enhance the textural quality of the designs. This issue demonstrates Jordan's commitment to preserving and promoting its cultural identity while acknowledging the importance of traditional arts and crafts in maintaining national heritage.
أصدر البريد الأردني في 31 ديسمبر 2007 مجموعة هويتنا ثقافتنا التي تحتفل بالتراث الثقافي الأردني الغني من خلال أربعة طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية. تعرض هذه الإصدارات التذكارية العناصر التقليدية التي تحدد الهوية الأردنية: حفظ المعرفة من خلال الكتب، والتقليد الموسيقي المتمثل في العود، والحرف التقليدية المتمثلة في القوارير المزخرفة، وفن الخط العربي. يتميز كل طابع بنمط شبكي يشبه الفسيفساء يضفي على التصاميم طابعاً تقليدياً يعكس الجذور التاريخية العميقة للأردن. تجمع البطاقة التذكارية العناصر الثقافية الأربعة في عرض موحد. صممت المجموعة من قبل شركة كوكب لتكنولوجيا المعلومات وطُبعت في المطبعة الحكومية النمساوية في فيينا باستخدام تقنيات طباعة عالية الجودة تعزز الجودة النسيجية للتصاميم.
