تحتفل هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من أربعة طوابع بالزيارة التاريخية لقداسة البابا بنديكتوس السادس عشر للأردن في الفترة من 8-11 مايو 2009. شكلت هذه الزيارة البابوية معلماً مهماً في الحوار بين الأديان وتعزيز العلاقات بين الفاتيكان والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، مع تسليط الضوء على دور الأردن كحارس للمقدسات المسيحية. تصور الطوابع لحظات مهمة من الزيارة، وتظهر اللقاءات بين قداسة البابا والملك عبدالله الثاني أمام معالم أردنية مميزة. تعرض التصاميم معالم دينية وثقافية مهمة مثل جبل نيبو حيث يُعتقد أن موسى شاهد الأرض الموعودة، وموقع عماد المسيح على نهر الأردن. أصدر البريد الأردني طابع الـ50 قرشاً غير مثقب كبطاقة تذكارية لتأكيد أهمية هذه الزيارة.
