تحتفل مجموعة طوابع الآلات الموسيقية التذكارية، التي أصدر البريد الأردني في الأول من يناير 2008، بالآلات الموسيقية التراثية الشرق أوسطية التي تشكل جزءاً لا يتجزأ من التراث الثقافي الأردني والعربي. تضم هذه المجموعة 5 طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية واحدة، يعرض كل منها آلات تراثية مرسومة بجمال على خلفية من النوتة الموسيقية. تعرض الطوابع العود (آلة وترية كمثرية الشكل أساسية في الموسيقى العربية)، والربابة (آلة وترية تراثية تُعزف بالقوس)، والقانون (آلة وترية تُعزف بالنقر)، ونايات متنوعة (آلات نفخ)، وآلات إيقاعية تشمل الدف والطبل. هذه الآلات كانت محورية في الموسيقى الشعبية الأردنية والتقاليد الموسيقية العربية الكلاسيكية لقرون عديدة. تعرض البطاقة التذكارية جميع الآلات معاً في تكوين فني، مؤكدة دورها الجماعي في خلق النسيج الغني للتراث الموسيقي الأردني.
