Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

This 1987 commemorative set of two stamps was issued by the Government of Jordan to celebrate the national coat of arms of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The stamps feature the official royal emblem, which represents the sovereignty and constitutional monarchy of Jordan under the Hashemite dynasty. The coat of arms displays the golden eagle of Saladin with outstretched wings, supporting a shield containing various national symbols including the Hashemite crown. Two Jordanian flags flank the eagle, while Arabic inscriptions and decorative elements complete the heraldic design. The emblem is surmounted by the royal crown and surrounded by the traditional ermine-lined royal mantle in red and gold. This issue demonstrates Jordan's pride in its national identity and royal heritage, presenting the coat of arms against different background colors to emphasize its significance as a symbol of the kingdom's independence and Hashemite rule.

أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من طابعين في عام ١٩٨٧ للاحتفال بالشعار الوطني للمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. تحمل الطوابع الشعار الملكي الرسمي الذي يمثل سيادة المملكة والنظام الملكي الدستوري في الأردن تحت حكم الأسرة الهاشمية. يظهر الشعار النسر الذهبي الصلاحي بجناحيه المفرودين وهو يحمل درعاً يحتوي على رموز وطنية مختلفة منها التاج الهاشمي. يحيط بالنسر علمان أردنيان، بينما تكمل النقوش العربية والعناصر الزخرفية التصميم الشعاري. يعلو الشعار التاج الملكي ويحيط به الرداء الملكي التقليدي المبطن بالقاقم باللونين الأحمر والذهبي. تعبر هذه الإصدارة عن اعتزاز الأردن بهويته الوطنية وتراثه الملكي.
