Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

This commemorative set of six stamps and one souvenir sheet was issued by the Government of Jordan on September 13, 1985, to mark the 10th Anniversary of the World Tourism Organization (WTO). The souvenir sheet features a stylized flower design incorporating the WTO anniversary logo and the Jordanian flag, symbolizing the country's blossoming tourism industry. This issue reflects Jordan's commitment to promoting its archaeological treasures, from the ancient Nabataean city of Petra to the well-preserved Roman ruins of Jerash, alongside its natural attractions including the Red Sea coastline at Aqaba and the scenic Jordan Valley.
