أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من أربعة طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية واحدة في 23 يونيو 1994، احتفالاً بالذكرى المئوية لتأسيس اللجنة الأولمبية الدولية التي تأسست عام 1894 على يد بيير دي كوبرتان. تحتفل هذه الإصدارة بمرور 100 عام على الحركة الأولمبية ومشاركة الأردن في المجتمع الرياضي العالمي. تعرض الطوابع موضوعات أولمبية متنوعة تشمل رموز الألعاب الرياضية المرتبة حول كرة أرضية، والأنشطة الرياضية مع الحلقات الأولمبية الشهيرة، وتمثيلات رمزية للشعلة الأولمبية. يدمج كل تصميم الرقم '100' للتأكيد على معلم الذكرى المئوية. تُظهر المجموعة التزام الأردن بالمُثل الأولمبية والتعاون الرياضي الدولي، بتصاميم تمزج بين الرمزية الأولمبية التقليدية والعناصر الجرافيكية الحديثة.
