This commemorative set of three stamps, issued by the Government of Jordan through its Ministry of Post & Communications on September 7, 1999, celebrates the Hejazi Railway Museum. The third stamp presents a different composition, depicting a classic steam locomotive alongside a preserved station building with the Jordanian flag, representing the museum's role in preserving this important piece of transportation history. تحتفل هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من ثلاثة طوابع، والتي أصدرتها الحكومة الأردنية من خلال وزارة البريد والاتصالات في 7 سبتمبر 1999، بمتحف الخط الحديدي الحجازي. كان الخط الحديدي الحجازي، الذي بُني خلال العهد العثماني في أوائل القرن العشرين، رابطاً حيوياً للنقل يصل بين دمشق والمدينة المنورة، مروراً بالأردن. لعب هذا الخط دوراً مهماً في التاريخ الإقليمي، خاصة أثناء الثورة العربية عندما هاجم لورنس العرب والقوات العربية القطارات العثمانية. يعرض الطابعان الأولان تصميماً متطابقاً يظهر خريطة الأردن مع خطوط السكة الحديدية ومبنى محطة تاريخية وقاطرة بخارية تعبر جسراً، مما يرمز إلى أهمية السكة الحديدية لتراث النقل الأردني. يقدم الطابع الثالث تركيباً مختلفاً، حيث يصور قاطرة بخارية كلاسيكية إلى جانب مبنى محطة محفوظة مع العلم الأردني، ممثلاً دور المتحف في الحفاظ على هذه القطعة المهمة من تاريخ النقل.
