This commemorative set of three stamps was issued by the Ministry of Post & Communications in 1998 to celebrate International Stamp Day, an annual observance that promotes philately and postal services worldwide. International Stamp Day was established by the Universal Postal Union to encourage stamp collecting and awareness of postal heritage. The three stamps present different aspects of philatelic culture and global postal connectivity. The 50 fils stamp depicts a dove carrying a stamp, symbolizing the peaceful exchange of correspondence across borders. The 100 fils stamp features a world map alongside the UPU emblem, representing international postal cooperation and the Universal Postal Union's role in facilitating global mail services. The 150 fils stamp shows stamps encircling a globe, emphasizing how postage stamps serve as miniature ambassadors of culture and communication worldwide. Printed by A. أصدرت وزارة البريد والاتصالات هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من ثلاثة طوابع في عام 1998 احتفالاً باليوم العالمي للطوابع، وهو مناسبة سنوية تهدف إلى تشجيع هواية جمع الطوابع والخدمات البريدية حول العالم. أسس الاتحاد البريدي العالمي اليوم العالمي للطوابع لتعزيز جمع الطوابع والوعي بالتراث البريدي. تعرض الطوابع الثلاثة جوانب مختلفة من ثقافة الطوابع والتواصل البريدي العالمي. يصور الطابع فئة 50 فلساً حمامة تحمل طابعاً، رمزاً للتبادل السلمي للمراسلات عبر الحدود. يحتوي طابع 100 فلس على خريطة العالم مع شعار الاتحاد البريدي العالمي، ممثلاً التعاون البريدي الدولي. يظهر طابع 150 فلساً طوابع تحيط بالكرة الأرضية، مؤكداً دور الطوابع كسفراء مصغرة للثقافة والتواصل عالمياً.
