Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية من خلال وزارة البريد والاتصالات هذه المجموعة التذكارية في 10 ديسمبر 1998، احتفالاً بالذكرى الخمسين للإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان. يحتفل الطابعان بهذا الإنجاز التاريخي في قانون حقوق الإنسان الدولي، الذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في 10 ديسمبر 1948. يصور طابع المائة فلس أشكالاً بشرية مُنمقة تمثل وحدة الأسرة والتنوع، مؤكداً على الطبيعة العالمية لحقوق الإنسان عبر جميع الشعوب والثقافات. يعرض طابع المائتي فلس ظلالاً لأشخاص بألوان متنوعة إلى جانب شعار الأمم المتحدة المميز، رمزاً للتعاون الدولي والالتزام الجماعي بالكرامة الإنسانية. يحمل كلا الطابعين شعار الذكرى والتواريخ 1948-1998، مؤكدين أهمية هذا اليوبيل الذهبي. تعكس مشاركة الأردن في هذا الاحتفال العالمي التزام المملكة بمبادئ حقوق الإنسان ودورها النشط في الأمم المتحدة.
