This set of three stamps and souvenir sheet was issued by the Government of Jordan's Ministry of Post & Communications on August 3, 1998, to commemorate the Second Arab Beekeeping Conference. The conference brought together Arab beekeepers and apiculture experts to share knowledge and promote cooperation in honey production across the region. The stamps feature detailed illustrations celebrating various aspects of beekeeping: honeybees at work, flowers essential for pollination, and the geometric beauty of honeycomb structures. Each design emphasizes the vital relationship between bees, flora, and honey production. The 50 fils stamp depicts a honeybee with red flowers and golden hexagonal honeycomb cells. The 100 fils value shows a bee visiting a white flower against a honeycomb background with an outline map of the Arab world. The 150 fils stamp illustrates the complete cycle with bees, pink flowering plants, and honeycomb structures. The 200 fils souvenir sheet presents two bees on a field of small flowers, incorporating the conference logo with clasped hands symbolizing cooperation. This philatelic tribute reflects Jordan's agricultural interests and its role in fostering regional collaboration in sustainable beekeeping practices.
أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية من خلال وزارة البريد والاتصالات هذه المجموعة المكونة من ثلاثة طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية في 3 آب 1998، إحياءً للمؤتمر الثاني للنحالين العرب. جمع المؤتمر النحالين وخبراء تربية النحل العرب لتبادل المعرفة وتعزيز التعاون في إنتاج العسل عبر المنطقة. تحمل الطوابع رسوماً مفصلة تحتفل بجوانب مختلفة من تربية النحل: النحل في العمل، والزهور الضرورية للتلقيح، والجمال الهندسي لأقراص العسل. يؤكد كل تصميم على العلاقة الحيوية بين النحل والنباتات وإنتاج العسل. يصور طابع الخمسين فلساً نحلة مع زهور حمراء وخلايا عسل ذهبية سداسية. تُظهر فئة المائة فلس نحلة تزور زهرة بيضاء على خلفية أقراص العسل مع خريطة العالم العربي. يوضح طابع المائة وخمسين فلساً الدورة الكاملة مع النحل والنباتات المزهرة الوردية وهياكل أقراص العسل. تقدم البطاقة التذكارية فئة المائتين فلس نحلتين على حقل من الزهور الصغيرة، مع شعار المؤتمر بالأيدي المتصافحة رمزاً للتعاون.
