Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية في 16 فبراير 1990 لإحياء الذكرى الأولى لانبثاق مجلس التعاون العربي. تأسس مجلس التعاون العربي في 16 فبراير 1989 كمنظمة إقليمية تضم الأردن والعراق ومصر واليمن، بهدف تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والتنسيق السياسي بين الدول العربية. تحمل الطوابع الأربعة في هذه المجموعة تصميماً موحداً يظهر خريطة منطقة الشرق الأوسط مع أعلام الدول الأعضاء الأربع مرتبة في شكل مروحي - تعرض الألوان والرموز المميزة للأردن والعراق ومصر واليمن. توضع الخريطة والأعلام داخل شعار دائري على خلفية من الأمواج الزرقاء والبيضاء المتحدة المركز، رمزاً للوحدة والتعاون. يحمل كل طابع نصوصاً باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية تخليداً لهذا المعلم المهم في التعاون العربي الإقليمي.
