Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

تحتفل هذه المجموعة التذكارية بالذكرى الـ125 لتأسيس الاتحاد البريدي العالمي الذي تأسس عام 1874 كأول منظمة بريدية دولية. أصدرت وزارة البريد والاتصالات الأردنية هذين الطابعين عام 1999 للاحتفال بدور الاتحاد البريدي العالمي في تسهيل التعاون البريدي والاتصالات العالمية. يحمل الطابع الأول تصميماً مبسطاً للرقم "125" إلى جانب شعار الاتحاد البريدي العالمي المعروض بشكل ظرف بريدي، مؤكداً على أهمية هذه الذكرى. يعرض الطابع الثاني شعار الاتحاد البريدي العالمي على ظرف مع رمز الهدف وشعار البريد الأردني، رمزاً للدقة في التوصيل البريدي ومشاركة الأردن في الشبكة البريدية العالمية. تتضمن المجموعة بطاقة تذكارية إضافية بتثقيب منعدم.
