أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة من الطوابع الاعتيادية التي تحمل صورة الملك الحسين بن طلال في 30 نيسان 1991، وتضم سبع فئات تتراوح من 5 فلسات إلى دينار واحد. يعرض كل طابع صورة رسمية متطابقة لجلالة الملك الحسين وهو يرتدي بدلة رسمية داكنة وربطة عنق على خلفية محايدة، محاطة بإطارات زخرفية من الخط العربي. تتميز الطوابع بألوان خلفياتها المختلفة: أصفر برتقالي، أخضر زمردي، أحمر برتقالي، بنفسجي وردي، بني برتقالي، بنفسجي فاتح، وأخضر أصفر زاهي. تحمل جميع الطوابع تاريخاً مزدوجاً 1991 (ميلادي) و1412 (هجري)، مما يعكس التراث الثقافي الأردني. كسلسلة اعتيادية، كانت هذه الطوابع مخصصة للاستخدام البريدي العادي في جميع أنحاء المملكة. تؤكد الصورة الرسمية على دور الملك الحسين كملك دستوري للمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية.
