Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من ثلاثة طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية واحدة في 18 أبريل 1994، تكريماً للإعمار الهاشمي الثالث للمسجد الأقصى المبارك وقبة الصخرة المشرفة. تحتفل هذه الإصدارات بالتزام الأردن المستمر في عهد الملك حسين بالحفاظ على هذه المواقع الإسلامية المقدسة وترميمها في القدس. يعرض كل طابع الملك حسين إلى جانب مناظر معمارية مختلفة للحرمين الشريفين - المسجد الأقصى بأروقته المميزة، وقبة الصخرة المشرفة الذهبية الشهيرة. يمثل مشروع الترميم استمراراً للوصاية الهاشمية على الأماكن المقدسة الإسلامية في القدس، وهي مسؤولية محورية في هوية الأردن منذ أوائل القرن العشرين. تُظهر البطاقة التذكارية منظورات متعددة للمبنيين الكريمين، مؤكدة على الطبيعة الشاملة لأعمال الترميم والالتزام الشخصي للملك حسين بالحفاظ على هذه المواقع المقدسة للأجيال القادمة من المسلمين في جميع أنحاء العالم.
