Stamps of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

أصدرت الحكومة الأردنية هذه المجموعة التذكارية المكونة من 6 طوابع وبطاقة تذكارية واحدة في 14 نوفمبر 1995، للاحتفال بالذكرى الستين لميلاد الملك الحسين بن طلال، الذي حكم الأردن من 1952 إلى 1999. تحمل الطوابع صوراً متنوعة للملك الراحل الذي اشتهر بحكمته وجهوده لتحديث الأردن مع الحفاظ على الاستقرار في منطقة الشرق الأوسط المضطربة. تُظهر التصاميم الملك الحسين بالزي العربي التقليدي مع الكوفية وبالزي العسكري الرسمي، مما يعكس دوره المزدوج كقائد عربي تقليدي ورئيس دولة حديث. تتضمن عدة طوابع عناصر رمزية منها الرقم '60' والعلم الأردني ومعالم معمارية مهمة مثل قبة الصخرة في القدس والخزنة في البتراء. تعكس هذه الإصدارة احترام الأردن العميق لقيادة الملك الحسين ومساهماته في تطوير الأردن ودوره كصانع سلام.
